![]() I then had to wait there whilst this theory was tested. Instead of trying to help me and solve the problem all they wanted to do was try and fob me off with a string of words that didn't make sense.Įventually I explained that if they made a print from the negative there would be no line but if they made a print from the scan there would. I didn't know what he was talking about and he clearly didn't. Again he said no because it might just be a computer problem!! I then had to explain to him that I don't want prints but can't use corrupted scans and that the negatives need rescanning because the negatives are fine. ![]() He explained to me that although the computers (mine and the shops) were showing lines, there probably weren't any really? At this point she called for the manager and explained the problem to him. I disputed this and said the negatives simply needed rescanning. Then she held the negatives up to the light for a few minutes before attempting to point out some lines on the negatives that clearly weren't there. The lady then loaded up the scans on the store pc and saw the lines. I returned to the shop and explained the problem. Each scan had a multi-coloured line running horizontally through the center. Having put a 36exp roll of film in for development and scanning (no prints) I collected the negatives and scans (on cd) the next day. I have been using it for over 2 years without a single problem but that streak has come to an end. The Clapham High Street Branch of Snappy Snaps seems to have changed hands.
